About Lynn

Lynn Zdroik is a Core Essentials Graduate of Coach U, a trained and licensed facilitator of  The Study of You™, Coach Your Teen to Success™, and Coach Your Student to Success™, an independent facilitator of Love and Logic®curricula, an experienced junior high school educator and department leader. She is a mentor and strong supporter of adolescent and community wellness, as well as a parent to three adult children.  Lynn is passionate about helping parents and teens learn to better understand each other and stay connected.  She is also dedicated to helping teens discover their strengths and identify careers that will be a good fit for them.

How do you help parents?

I am acutely aware of the struggles parents face.  Through my experience of parenting three children and as a licensed Family and Consumer Sciences educator I understand firsthand how critical the parent-child relationship is, especially during the teenage years.  I have gained the knowledge and skills necessary to build healthy family relationships and consider it a privilege to assist other parents.

How do you help teachers?

As an educator for over 19 years, I am licensed to teach both Health and Family and Consumer Sciences. I understand what teachers encounter on a daily basis and have acquired the skills necessary to create a positive classroom environment and am excited to share that information with others.

How do you help teens?

I am aware of the pressures teens face.  As a junior high educator for 17 years, I have positively impacted countless students within and outside of the classroom.  I find it rewarding to help teens make healthy choices, discover more about themselves, and learn about careers that would be a good fit for them.

Why did you become a coach?

I became a coach to help parents recognize the power they have to create healthy family relationships and positively influence their children.  I believe parenting is the most important job in the world and I consider it an honor to assist others.

What do you do to strengthen your coaching skills?

I continue to broaden my knowledge and strengthen my coaching skills by taking classes, attending conferences, and reading.  I am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), considered the Gold Medal body, governing the professional coaching profession.  My mentor coach is Barbara McRae, MCC, a coaching pioneer, nationally known parent/teen expert, and bestselling author of Coach Your Teen to Success-7 Simple Steps to Transform Relationships and Enrich Lives and the creator of numerous programs in support of teens, parents, schools, and communities.
